The outer shell of the foal rug is made from Billabong Canvas, a medium weight canvas with great water resistance. For the lining, we use a soft polarfleece for warmth. Sandwiched in between these two layers is a emergency survival blanket. The survival blanket traps up to 90% of the radiated body heat that would normally be dispersed into the environment. So they keep the foal warm with the heat they are already generating.
This cover is very light weight and easy to fit. It has Velcro fastenings across the chest and under the tummy.
Perfect for early born foals or to protect your newborns form the elements.
